Join us for the physics alumni gathering Saturday, October 2 and take part in your favorite Homecoming traditions over the weekend!

Alumni welcome tent  /  10:30 a.m.
Stop by for Panther giveaways at our Alumni Welcome Tent starting at 10:30 a.m. The tent will be located along the parade route in Downtown Cedar Falls, 4th & Main St., while supplies last.

Homecoming parade  /  11 a.m.
Join us for a purple and gold parade in Cedar Falls! The parade starts at 11 a.m. at 9th and Main Street and will end at 2nd and Main Street. Make sure to stop by the alumni welcome tent along the parade route!

Physics alumni picnic  /  Following parade
The alumni picnic will be held at Seerley Park (at the corner of West Seerley Boulevard & Iowa Street). The physics department will be providing meat to grill, side dishes and beverages. Guests may, if they wish, contribute a dish to this potluck-style picnic. In case of inclement weather, the picnic will be held inside Begeman Hall on the UNI campus. There is no charge to attend, but please RSVP by September 10, 2021 so we can plan accordingly.

Physics department tours available  /  2 p.m.
At 2 p.m. there will be physics department tours available. Those interested can meet inside Begeman Hall outside room 114.

UNI Football vs. Youngstown State  /  4 p.m.
After the picnic, you are also invited to attend the UNI Homecoming football game against Youngstown State at 4 p.m. For game tickets, call 319-273-4TIX or visit the UNITix website to order.
