#LivePurpleGiveGold

Alumni clubs across the country are hosting happy hours to show their support of UNI during this year's Day of Giving. The club city with the highest percentage of alumni giving will be rewarded with an event attended by UNI Men's Basketball Coach, Ben Jacobson.

But we don't just want top give back to UNI, we want to give back to the city we live in as well. So we will have a volunteer opportunity as well as a happy hour!

After seeing the impact the UNI Denver Alumni Club has made in the past, we have created another opportunity to join fellow Panthers and serve dinner at the Denver Rescue Mission on Wednesday, April 4 from 5-7:30 p.m. at the Lawrence Street Shelter.

The Denver Rescue Mission has the goal of returning individuals to society as productive, self-sufficient citizens. When the Denver Alumni Club served dinner last time they served over 250 people!  Please note that space is limited to the first 10 volunteers. If you are interested please email Todd Mears at todd.mears@comcast.net.

Last year, the UNI community came together during #LivePurpleGiveGold to set the record for the most gifts in a single day to the university - 743. #LivePurpleGiveGold is a day the Panther Nation can come together to support our beloved alma mater. This year the goal is to have 1,000 gifts on Wednesday, April 4!
