Heritage Honours

Each year the Alumni Association honors graduates of the University of Northern Iowa through the Heritage Honours Awards program. These awards honor their personal and professional accomplishments and recognize their outstanding service to the University. The 2009 awards will be presented during Homecoming weekend, October 12-17.

Alumni Achievement Award

The Alumni Achievement Award recognizes the major personal and professional accomplishments of UNI graduates.

Young Alumni Award

The Young Alumni Award recognizes the major personal and professional accomplishments of graduates 40 years of age and younger.

Alumni Service Award

The Alumni Service Award recognizes those graduates who have shown long and contiguous service to their community and the University.

Excluding self-nominations, anyone may nominate an alumnus for a Heritage Honours Award. To be eligible, nominees must be graduates of the University of Northern Iowa, State College of Iowa, or Iowa State Teachers College.
