7. Students First Campaign Update

A special event honoring Eldon and Dee Miller for their service to UNI and the Cedar Valley will take place in the UNI-Dome on Saturday, September 20th. Eldon served as head coach for the Men’s basketball team from 1986-1998 and his vision and inspiration has spearheaded the fundraising campaign for a new sports/multi-purpose arena on campus (McLeod Center). The UNI Foundation is inviting alumni and friends to make a gift to the McLeod Center in recognition of Eldon and Dee. The goal is to raise $500,000 and to then name the plaza between the UNI-Dome and McLeod Center in their honor. To purchase tickets to the September 20th event, or to make a donation in honor of the Millers, please contact the UNI Foundation at 800-782-9522 or visit http://www.uni-foundation.org.
