Legislative Advocacy

The UNI Alumni Association works closely with UNI’s Office of Governmental Relations on legislative issues affecting the University. We have joined forces to create UNITE (UNI Together in Education), an organization of alumni and friends who share a common commitment to higher education in Iowa and the specific needs of UNI.

UNI strives to be the finest comprehensive public university in the nation. To achieve this goal, financial support from the State of Iowa is essential. The University needs alumni volunteers to serve as advocates for UNI by contacting legislators to discuss UNI’s needs.
