Awards and Scholarships

The Heritage Honours Awards are the most prestigious honor awarded to graduates of the University of Northern Iowa.

The LUX Service Award is the highest undergraduate award given for service to the university.

The Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship Fund supports two undergraduate and one graduate student scholarship for current students.

Scholarships are available through UNI Financial Aid for out-of-state students, including a legacy scholarship.

This award is to encourage UNI's teaching majors to consider Iowa first when making their decision about where to teach following graduation.
