You will pick the Hotel and Ground Package and then you will be responsible in finding your own airfare from your desired airport. Can we fly out of Cedar Rapids now with the air package? Yes, there is now an option to fly out of Cedar Rapids as well as Des Moines. Do you have to be a UNI alum to go on the trip? No, you do not need to be a UNI alum. Anyone can sign up for the trip. When looking at the triple occupancy, is that price per person or for all three? That is price per person. Depending on the package it includes the hotel, airfare, pregame tailgate, welcome reception, luau, transportation to/from luau and game, and more. Am I registered for the trip once I start the online process? No. Registration is confirmed once the $500 deposit is received. What is the deadline for signing up? April 30, 2024, is the deadline to register for the Hawaii trip. What is the trip payment schedule? Registration Deposit - $500 50% Payment - March 22 Final Payment - June 24 What airline are we using? Is it a direct flight? What time will we leave? Airline will be secured when passenger counts are completed. That is when we will know when we fly out and if/when/where we will stop. Is there a limit to how many can sign up for the trip? No, there is no limit. Can I sign up after the deadline? It depends. Flight and hotel availability are not guaranteed after the registration dates. Will football team be at the luau? Yes, the football team and coaches will be at the luau with all those traveling through the UNI Alumni Association. Will families have time with their players? Players will have an opportunity to enjoy the luau with family and Panther fans. Outside of this has not been determined and will be up to the discretion of the coaches. Are the parents and fans at the same hotel as the football players? Players will have an opportunity to enjoy the luau with family and Panther fans. You should be able to see how much extensions and add-ons are in the registration process to determine what you want to do. Yes, packages were updated to allow 3 - 4 adults to stay in a room, not just children. Can we get our money back if our child is not playing on the travel team after we have signed up? There are two different insurance packages available for purchase; "cancel for any reason" and "cancelation for a covered reason" policies. Not all charges may be covered, so please review carefully before purchasing. Please note: The "cancel for any reason" plan must be added at the time of booking and cannot be added after the deposit has been made.
